Buckwheat Cookies
Cookie making from Buckwheat flour is a recent development confined to a farmers group in Chokhor Gewog, Bumthang. This ready- to- eat bites are now complementing the customary snacks like roasted rice (zaw) and beaten maize (Tengma/Geza Sep). It contains mainly of buckwheat flour with small mix of imported wheat flour (maida), sugar and baking soda.
